Snow

Now also, being from upstate New York, I always like snow for Thanksgiving. Especially this year, when I don't have to travel.

So far today, I'm just looking at it out the window:

Later, I will have to shovel, however -:(

Yeah.....it's real pretty until you have to go shovel (or snow-blow) the damn driveway clear of 8" of snow at 6am. Or after the roads are clear for a day or two and the snow at the curbs gets all dirty and grey and grungy. Or you park on the street and get out of your car, just to have some fucking teenager blow past you and splatter slush all over you and your clothes. Or when.. Okay. I'll hush up. Thanksgiving for this Southern girl is supposed to be 65degrees and humid and taking a walk and kicking the fallen gum balls from the gum ball trees as you walk... Sigh. Where in upstate New York? My mom's family is from there....
