This is worrisome
I just read an entry on attacks on women at the University of Illinois that seems amazing and frightening. Possibly as many as 50 women have been attacked in total.
avocadocouch is asking for support on this.
I am not sure how best to respond (I know form emails are often not likely to be effective, and if I send something I'd like it to be well researched), but in the meantime I feel I should at least call attention to this.

Please keep in mind that the 50 number was an estimate; I count 28 since the beginning of the semester (but lack of media and forthright police coverage has not presented a sum total), and the attacks on Asian American women as a notable string of related assaults began in June-July of this summer, leading me to my estimate. Anything you can do to help will be appreciated.
