The first drummer for Steely Dan, Jim Hodder, died in his swimming pool, in 1990, at 43.
The most prominent drummer for the band after that, Jeff Porcaro, died while gardening at his house in 1992, at 38.
I'm not sure what this proves, but maybe the healthful effects of fresh air are overrated.
