You're probably right here.

It would be useful *if* we could ever get our hands on the NT code.  It
could cut the port-time to less than a month (if not a week or two) rather
than something like two months.

I had initially suggested mid-week, but people have joined the effort
since and people need more time anyway.  I would now purpose giving
people through the weekend to evaluate it.  What do ya think?
