Everyone interested in writing some of the port please respond to this 
message.

There are two proposals for a date by which interested porters will have 
read the source, and developed whatever interest they might have in 
working on particular pieces of code. Based on discussions that 
will commence on that date, the source will be divvied up and 
people will retreat to their caves to make it happen.

#1 - Monday the 18th
#2 - Monday the 25th
